Thank you for your service!
Since 2015, we have proudly served our nation’s military veterans through the VA Community Care program. If you are a veteran and are eligible for services at a local VA hospital, you may also be eligible to receive acupuncture services at our clinic.
VA Community Care Referral Process
To initiate a referral for acupuncture, you must first speak with your physician at the VA. There are acupuncturists on staff with the VA in Madison, so you may be able to receive care directly at your local VA clinic. If you’ll have to wait 30 days for service or drive farther than 30 miles to receive care, you may be able to request a referral to a clinic in the community such as ours.
Typically, veterans will be authorized for an initial series of 12 acupuncture visits over a 60 day period. When necessary, a second authorization will cover another 8 visits over 90 days. For maintenance purposes, additional authorizations may cover 8 visits for every 6 month time period.
