Kristin is a National Board Certified, Licensed Acupuncturist and Chinese Herbalist. She earned her Licentiate in Traditional Chinese Medicine from the Irish College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 2005 and her Master of Science in Oriental Medicine from the Midwest College of Oriental Medicine in 2008.
Kristin became interested in achieving health in natural ways following a whole food cooking course in 1994. Eating healthy whole foods improved her health so drastically that she began exploring other ways to stay healthy without pharmaceuticals. Her first experience with acupuncture was as a patient, seeking help for chronic abdominal pain. After a few months of treatment her pain was gone, but she continued to get acupuncture for various issues that arose such as back pain, bronchitis, and recovery from a bike accident. Fascinated by this ancient medicine and knowing she wanted to become a health care practitioner she began her acupuncture studies in 2002.
Kristin is a general practitioner, treating a wide variety of health concerns, with a special interest in treating patients with fertility challenges, chronic pain, neurological conditions, digestive disorders, stress, anxiety, and emotional concerns.
When Kristin isn’t busy at the clinic she likes to garden, experiment with fermenting vegetables and making cheese (her love of food and its affect on health is as strong as ever), work on her many sewing projects, play board games, and enjoy downtime with her husband, two daughters and friends and family.
